Wolperdinger Bookends is a traditional community bookstore offering new books, merchandise and programs for all AGES and all STAGES. But more than this, it offers a space for patrons to experience the magic, wonder, intrigue and happiness of books. And it all starts with the name… A wolperdinger is a mythical hybrid creature who lives in the Bavarian Forest. In considering a unique yet appropriately descriptive name for a place filled with books, wolperdinger fit perfectly. And, of course, we also have a fun assortment of bookends.

For our book club book pick this month, we asked our customers what YOU wanted to read. You are what keeps our store alive, and we love your input! We gave a few options, and the majority chose what we think will be a great read! God of the Woods is said to be a summer mystery which we think is perfect. January can be such a cold month, and we are glad you all chose a book set in the summer. We hope this book keeps us out of the cold and intertwined in what seems to be an excellent fictional mystery drama.
